Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of Italian or French bread (round or oval works
best)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: red pepper flakes for a bit of heat
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Bread:
- Preheat your air
fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Using a serrated knife, make diagonal cuts in the bread, about 1 inch apart, without cutting all the way through. Then, make another set of diagonal cuts in the opposite direction to create a diamond pattern.
2. Prepare the Garlic Butter:
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, and dried oregano.
3. Stuff the Bread:
- Gently separate
the bread along the cuts and drizzle the garlic butter mixture into all the
crevices.
- Stuff the
shredded mozzarella cheese into the cuts, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the loaf.
4. Air Fry the Bread:
- Carefully place
the prepared bread in the air fryer basket. If your loaf is large, you may need
to trim the edges slightly or use smaller sections of the loaf.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is golden and crisp.
5.Serve
- Remove the bread
from the air fryer and let it cool slightly.
- Optionally,
sprinkle with red pepper flakes for some added spice.
- Serve warm, and enjoy pulling apart the cheesy, garlicky goodness!
This pull-apart cheese garlic bread is perfect as a side
dish or a snack.
