Slow Cooker Tri Tip Roast

Ingredients:

- 1 tri-tip roast (about 2-3 pounds)

- 1 onion, sliced

- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 cup beef broth

- 1/4 cup soy sauce

- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preparation: Season the tri-tip roast with salt and pepper. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker. 

2. Mixing the Sauce: In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, dried rosemary, and dried thyme.

3. Cooking: Place the seasoned tri-tip roast on top of the onions and garlic in the slow cooker. Pour the sauce mixture over the roast.

4. Slow Cooking: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.

5. Resting and Serving: Once cooked, remove the roast from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve with the onions and garlic from the slow cooker as a flavorful side.

This method should give you a deliciously tender tri-tip roast with minimal effort!
